Star Trek: Generations

Starring William Shatner and Patrick Stewart

This movie was the crossover all Star Trek fans had been waiting for: Captain Kirk meeting Captain Jean Luc-Picard. It also has the moment all William Shatner haters were waiting for: Captain Kirk bites the big one.

STAR TREK: GENERATIONS is like a Star Trek episode: Slightly confusing plot mixed in with decent acting and good special effects.

The plot has to do with a thing called the Nexus. The Nexus is a perfect la-la place. An evil doctor (Malcolm McDowell) wants to call it to come to him. To do so, he has to destroy a planet.

Good old Jean Luc-Picard (Patrick Stewart) isn't fond of the destroying planet part. So he sets off to try to stop him... Eventually Jean Luc-Picard gets sucked into the Nexus and finds Captain Kirk (William Shatner) and convinces them to go to the time before the Nexus was called so they can stop the Dr.

My interpertation of the plot is proabably wrong on some accounts.

This movie is a must for Star Trek fans and for William Shatner haters. I give STAR TREK: GENERATIONS *** out of ****.
