The Toxic Avenger is perhaps the first great Troma film. It was released all the way back, in 1984. He was 98 pounds of solid nerd until he was doused in toxic waste. Then he became the Toxic Avenger. This movie is all about triumph. It's really an inspirational film. After watching it, I realized that even I could, one day douse myself in toxic chemicals, and develope super powers to triumph over those who would try to supress me, for not being "popular". The Toxic Avenger goes on to fight crime, armed only with his mop.

Once again, Troma does it. Another fantastic movie that every one can relate to (if your 98 pounds of solid nerd.),but who could hate a large, mutated, freak who fights crime with a mop. The concept alone earns four stars. And since it's a Troma movie, there is nudity and gore. What more could you ask for?

The acting is unimportant, and the director must have agreed with that.
