Tomcats is about a group of college friends who make a bet that the one who stays single the longest gets to get a large amount of money. Jake Busey is a former lover of Shannon Elizabeth, but Shannon Elizabeth is now a cop that wants revenge on him for leaving her stranded.

Most comedies try to be funny and come off with a few funny jokes. Tomcats fails at this. None of the jokes are hilarious, a few barely make you smirk, and most of them come off as boring. Shannon Elizabeth does one of the blandest performances ever while Jake Busey does an OK job. A lot of the jokes go on for way too long, such as an S&M encounter with a librarian that last for five minutes before delivering the weak punchline.

Tomcats is probably one of the worst comedies I’ve seen.

I hated this movie. You know those movies that are so bad, the creators realize it, so they make these trailers that say that you should go say it, if you like nudity? well this is one of those movies, except this movie happens to have absolutely no nudity. I Shannon Elizabeth is looking to become a legitimate actress, despite her best performance being a role where all she did was speak really bad English, and get naked. This movie also happens to be an all new low in Jerry O'Connel's career. My Secret Identity was an awesome show, and Sliders is one of my favorite shows to date, so it pained me to watch him in this piece of shit. At least this movie had Jake Busey. Now Jake Busey may not be the best of actors, and lets face it, he hasn't exactly aquired sort of "pretigious" roles, but I'm never able to dislike him. I guess I'm not really sure why, but maybe he's the reason Shasta McNasty lasted more than one episode.
