Terror Firmer

Starring Lloyd Kaufman, Trent Haaga, and Will Keenan

Terror Firmer is the latest hit from Troma. It's inspired by Lloyd Kaufman's book "All I ever wanted to know about film-making, I learned from the Toxic Avenger." (which is fantastic.) the movie is about a blind film director who is trying to make a great movie, while a mysterious serial killer stalks the set.

I saw this movie at Dragon Con 99. The movie was showed at midnight on Saturday, and earlier in the day I was talking to one of the two guys who were running the Troma booth. He convinced me to check out Terror Firmer. As I was watching this movie, (in a ballroom full of Troma fanatics.) I realized that the guy that I had talked to earlier, was Trent Haaga, star of Terror Firmer.

I've seen a bunch of Troma movies, and this is, by far, the grossest. It is incredibly gory. The movie features a cameo by fellow Troma fans, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, in a hilarious public announcement about hermaphrodites. This movie is proof that Lloyd Kaufman is only becoming more of genius as he makes more movies.

I give this **** out of ****
