It's the last day of school, when Micheal gets a love letter from a secret admirer. After finding out that it wasn't sent by the illustrious Deborah Anne Fimple, he leaves it laying around. The rest of the movie features him getting a his female friend, Toni, to give a love letter that he wrote to Deborah Anne Fimple. Since his letter ends up sucking, Toni re-writes, and Deborah falls in love with Micheal. The primary plot line of the movie is just plain stupid, escpecially since it's quite obvious from the beginning that Toni wrote the original love letter. The real entertainment in this flick can be derived from the hilarious side plot that features the love letters falling into the wrong hands. Two married couples are almost torn apart as each couple has a member that thinks that the other couple's corresponding member is in love with them. Infidelity ensues, as does the hilarity. There are also some good scenes featuring Roger and his crazy van. the rest of the movie is trash, that was later ripped off in a bad episode of Full House, which oddly enough, also featured Lori Loughlin in a prominant role. I give it **1/2 out of **** |
