Robocop 2. It starts very strangely. Robocop is doing a drug bust and aims to shoot at someone firing at him. The assailant turns out to be a kid with a gun. Naturally, Robocop can’t fight him and gets a few bullets in the chest. The plot later involves a big drug dealer who dies, but gets transferred into a metallic body of “Robocop 2”. “Robocop 2” obviously fights against Robocop… Gee, who will win? The characters aren’t done as well as in the first movie. There is a scene initially where Alex Murphy’s wife goes to visit Robocop and realizes he is her former husband, but not much happens with that afterwards. A very cool part of the movie happens when Robocop is programmed to be politically correct. He gives advise like “Drink milk and cookies” while being beat-up and laughed at by kids. The movie isn’t as bad as Robocop 3, but still a slightly above-average sequel. Rent it if you enjoyed the first movie, just don’t expect it to be as good. I give Robocop 2 **1/2
