A band of Mexican outlaws have been stealing the food from a poor farming town, and they're fed up with it, so the head of the town, goes out to find a group of cowboys who while defend the town, and drive the bandits away, for good. After they get together seven men, they are now ready to kick some ass. This is actually the first western movie, that I've ever seen, (besides Wild Wild West, that is) I didn't quite know what to expect, and frankly, I always thought westerns would be boring. I was wrong in this case, as Magnificient is entertaining, and has a good pace. It also has some of the coolest dialogue, I've ever heard, and some good characters. There's a toughened bad ass, a strong guy, some nut job running from the law, this one guy who's great with knifes, a sharpshooter, and an overly eager kid. They actually did a remake of this movie, sometime around ten years ago, but I do think I'm going to bother renting it, since it doesn't have Steve McQueen in it. It's a great flick. |
