Before Airplane, before Naked Gun, there was Kentucky Fried Movie, a movie made by the same creators. Movie is probably the wrong term; Kentucky Fried Movie ideally should be looked at as a collection of sketches like Saturday Night Live, except some of these couldn’t be shown on TV. The movie has a weak plot involving a movie theater showing lots of commercials, but you’ll be laughing too hard to care. Every one of the sketches is hilarious—if you enjoyed Naked Gun, you’ll have a good time with this movie. The longest sketch makes fun of Enter the Dragon with a hilariously stereotyped Bruce Lee character. While some would find this offensive, it’s obvious the 100+ Asian actor who participated in sketch understood it was a joke to begin with. I really can’t say much else about this movie without spoiling anything so see Kentucky Fried Movie today! I give Kentucky Fried
