The Indiana Jones trilogy is one of the best trilogy of movies because the quality is mostly consistent within all three parts. It features action, comedy, and romance. It has whips, guns, and poisoned dates. It has chases, fight scenes, and fire.

I almost hesitated writing a review for this movie since almost everybody has seen it, but here I go anyway. Indiana Jones, a teacher by day and archaeologist by night, is briefed by some CIA guys about Hitler’s plan to excavate the Ark of the Covenant. When Indy finds out a rival archaeologist is involved, he signs up for the job.

Harrison Ford does a really good job as Indiana Jones and the romantic interest in this movie is the best girl out of the whole trilogy. She stands up for herself, fights Nazis, and has an attitude to match Indy’s. There are several memorable scenes, including the escape from the massive boulder at the beginning of the movie. Raiders of the Lost Ark runs a little bit too long towards the end, but the scenes are so great you won’t care.
