Yet another eighties vehicle with Eddie Murphy. In this movie, Eddie Murphy plays a lost child, detective who is destined to save the golden child from evil. Every 400 years (or 100, I can't seem to remember.) a golden child is born. He is epitome of holiness. Satanic demons try to kill this golden child every time, one is born, but in order to do that they need either a weapon, that is not of this Earth, or they need to make the Golden Child consume some thing that is impure. Although this isn't the best movie I've ever seen, it was the first time I'd ever seen Eddie Murphy, tears ago, when I first saw it. Because of that, I've always liked it. The acting in this movie is not spectacular, but I do like the story. Eddie Murphy is very funny in this movie, and all in all, I find it to be quite enjoyable. there isn't a whole more I can say about this movie. I give it *** out of **** I recommend it |
