Ferocious Female Freedom Fighters

Story and Screen Play by Deddy Armand

Those wacky guys at Troma Team decided that they didn't want to make movie when all they had to do was re-dub an old kung-fu movie. That's exactly what they did in Ferocious Female Freedom Fighters. The new story involved a ring of women who are forced into wrestling (which ,oddly enough, look like karate matches) matches. These enslaved women must fight their way to freedom. They are helped along the way by an elvis impersonating kung-fu guy. Could it get any wackier?

This is truelly a great movie, and I think it's only appropriate to use a quote from Lloyd Kaufman (creator of the Toxic Avenger): "If Woody Allen's What's up, Tiger Lilly? made you laugh out loud, this one'll make you change your pants!". I think that pretty much sums it up. I couldn't agree more with Mr. Kaufman. It isn't the best movie that Troma has to offer, but I really like it. It's a good movie. The acting and effects are unimportant because it's re-dubbed. So I have to base my rating entirely on the story and script, which I think is excellent. It's gets funnier every time I watch it. The downside to the movie is how slowly it moves along.

I give it *** out of ****

Go watch it now.
