Most people I talk to said that Event Horizon scared the shit out of them. I think it makes no sense at all and is hilarious. [e.n. - who was afraid of this movie?!]

Event Horizon deals with a rescue mission. Some people on a ship are sent to rescue a ship that has disappeared, but recently resurfaced. They encounter satanic things on the ship, including bad dialogue. Here is some of my favorite lines:

A guy takes a pin-up girl from the wall.

GUY 2: Hey, that’s Ms. Galactica 2023!

GUY 1: Calm down man… It’s for science.

Guy 1 folds the poster in half and sticks a pin through it. Then he unfolds it.

GUY 1: On the left is side A, where we are. Side B is the location of the ship. Hyperspace involved folding space…

Guy 1 folds the paper in half and points to the point in the middle.

GUY 1: … so we can travel through space instantaneously.

Another great part from this movie is this classic line:

GUY 3: I thought it said “liberate te me”-- Save me. But it actually says, “liberate tu te me”—Save yourselves FROM HELL.

The stupid dialogue, pointless blood, and funny moments make Event Horizon the worst science fiction movie I’ve seen in a LONG time.
