Crocodile Dundee is now living back in Australia, with Sue, and their son, Mikey. After Sue gets a call asking her to become editor-in-chief of a newspaper in L.A., the trio go to L.A. Antics ensue, as Dundee and son explore L.A., all while Sue investigates the mysterious dissappearence of the previous editor-in-chief. Crocodile Dundee has always been cool, but it's a common known fact that Crocodile Dundee 2 sucked hard. Knowing this, Mat and I didn't exactly have high expectations of Crocodile Dundee in L.A. I guess that's one of the reasons I ended up liking it. It didn't have the strongest storyline, but it include one crucial part, The coolness of Crocodile Dundee. One of the parts, that I know Mat enjoyed quite a bit, was the parody of the Hollywood "scene". The movie also featured another scene, where Dundee and Jacko (the 2nd best Croc hunter in Australia.) get mugged. Instead of just re-hashing the mugging gag from the the original Crocodile Dundee movie, liike most sequels would do, they come up with a whole new joke. All in all, it was an alright movie/ I guess my only complaint is that I didn't any cool give-aways like I did at Monkeybone. I give it *** out of **** |
