Dawn of the Dead

Written and Directed by George A. Romero

Dawn of the Dead is the second movie in George A. Romero's "Living Dead Trilogy." The undead have risen up ,out of their graves, and they crave humans. The movie's main characters are four individuals who are trying to survive. They don't really have any supplies. All they have is a helicopter that is low on fuel. The group lands on the roof of a mall, to get supplies and the rest of the movies takes place there as they battle their way through the hordes of zombies they encounter.

I freakin' love this movie. It definately has to be one the best horror movies I've ever seen. I best part is the subtle satire that is in the movie. At one point, one of the characters says that the zombies come to the mall, because it was a place of importance to them when they were living. Zombie Flicks rule, this is the best of the zombie flicks, 'nuff said!

The acting is alright, but unimportant. George A. Romero is a brilliant writer and director. The film is a masterpiece. George A. Romero's parents should be proud!

**** out of ****
