Killer Condom is one of Troma's many "pick-up" films, which means that it was not made by the Troma studio. The movie is from Germany, so it's all in German, but it has subtitles. The movie is about a gay detective who discovers a plot to destroy lechery through the use lab manufactured, "killer condoms". After the detective loses a testicle to one of the condoms, he swears revenge. There is also a side plot involving the detectives ex, who is now a drag queen. The main theme of this movie is about sexual freedom. If a man wants to sleep with anothr man, then more power to him. The bad guy of the movie is the evil, moralist. That's probably why I like the movie so much. I also thinks it's funny that people get killed by a condom. Subtitles aside, it is an entertaining movie, and you can watch it and feel worldly, because it's foreign. It also has the Troma edge that every movie should have. I give it ***1/2 out of **** |
