In Combat Shock, Frankie Dunla is still trying to cope with civil life after having been in Vietnam. His life begins to crumble when he runs out of money, and is no longer able to get along with his wife. He takes to the streets to find a job of some sort, but is exposed to the dirty side o the city. His rage builds as does his desperation, until he fnally snaps. This movie is sort of like Rambo, except it isn't as ridiculous. The whole movie just builds up to the main character going crazy. I really isn't too bad. The effects aren't that great, but they really didn't have much of a budget. The acting could have also been better. All in all, it wasn't too bad for a Troma pick-up from the early 80's. **1/2 out of **** |
