This is perhaps one of the most disturbing Troma movies. This movie tells the story of a small New York city theatre, that does shows every few days featuring people getting maimed, and mutilated. Many people come to this small locale to see the most realistic portrayol of torture, ever seen on the theatre stage. But, what the viewers don't know is that what they are watching is entirely real. The innocent females that are shown getting mutilated, are actually getting mutilated. The owner of the theatre has been kidnapping women, and forcing them into slavery, while turning them into canniballistic, servile creatures. When I first saw the warning on the front cover, I knew that this would be quite a film. I knew that I was about to see quite a grotesque movie. I expected some thing really cool. I was partially right. The story is very slow, the acting sucks ( a given for many Troma team movies, so that won't count against how I rate it.) , and the dialogue is pretty crappy. It doesn't totally suck. There are some cool scene, like the "Brain Sucking Scene", and "Human Dart Board scene". I really like the Human Dart Board scene. The guy who is enslaving the kidnapped women, has one of his slaves bend over a couch, bare-ass naked. There is a bullseye painted on her ass, and you see him throw a dart at it. I can't help but laugh every time I see it, but those scenes alone do not totally redeem it's bad story line, and slow moving pace. I give it **1/2 out of **** |
